I found the winners name on page #57 of the July issue of LT. Roy K. for the Deus. I would think the winner or LT should have said something if it shows in the July issue. Maybe Roy still has not seen his name yet?? I Hope that he likes the new unit, I can not wait to win something, Hint maybe a HAT LOL I don't win things but i have fun trying. you are correct,it took me 3 days to respond when i won the exterra 705.may be lots of reasons the winner hasn't been revealed,lt won't let us know until the winner responds.if you don't get notified then someone else won.got my detctor within 4 days of my reply.let us all look forward to the next contest and the joy that this hobby brings.keep your batteries fresh and your headphone on

Life is Short - Live it to the Fullest

I'm a new member to this forum, but a very old contestant to the Lost Treasure Sweepstakes. Isn't this just a great sweepstake, and a great site as well? I just can't wait to win one of those metal detectors (fingers crossed). I don't have a metal detector of my own yet, but when I went to the beach with a friend who had one, I was reeled in - Hook, Line, and Sinker! I was T- totally addicted! The addiction to me is not knowing just what you will dig up when you find something buried! Most of the time you're going to find buried junk, but every now and then - B*I*N*G*O! Don't you just love the hunt?

Congrats Bro. Your going to love that machine. I've had mine for 6 months now. I love it. It's always with me. Go to mine labs website. There is a free ebook wrote by a guy named Digger . It's all about X-Terra 705. I printed out and three hole punched it. All 90 pages of it. It's great info on your new machine. It helped me a lot . It goes great with Manual that comes with it. Read both of them cover to cover.

Metal Detecting rules!!

We after the last 3 months of detecting we have found lots of coins , 1863 bobwire , old 1890's shotgun shells,1943 airplane machine gun rounds(SL 43 rounds) out by Boise Cit Oklahoma(the only city that was bombed during WW11) I heard they did practice bombing and war plane shooting out there in the 40's. Old pioneer firepace - On a old wagon trail we unearthed a 1892 Check Canceler that is now on display at the local museum!! Not to mention all the Indian artifacts that we find while digging!! The old west is soooo alive !!! Gold rings and even an old crucifix!!! The list can go on and on but that was enough for now!!! BTW THE KIDS ARE HOOKED!!!!
