Best find
My other best find is on page 53 May 2010 issue of Lost Treasure Magazine!
My actual best coin is the 1917D Buffalo nickel I found in my Mom's backyard with my brother who also was into detecting before he passed away in February. I have found better but this is the most memorable one.
I found a 1841 seated dime at a ghost town here in Texas. Cliff
My best,{to me..} would be my 1791 Spanish 2 Reale...Not my most expensive find, but my oldest and favorite...
My best find so far is a 1646 half crown "seige coin".Nearly crapped my pants when i dug it up!

Hard to say I'm pretty new to the hobby. My best coin finds to date are a 1876 Imperial German 10 pfenning and a 1922 Peace silver dollar...jewelry would be 18K/PLAT spinner ring and a 14K diamond ring w/ 5 sapphires
Spanish Colonial silver coin (1752 Real)
Hard to say. 89 point diamond ring in antique Tiffiny set? 2 1/2 oz 14k gold bracelet? 1876cc like new quarter? 1804 Spanish two real coin? Or maybe one of the tens of thousands of other coins and relics I have found with a metal detector over the last 40 years.
Some of my best finds were sites to hunt. An old site of a Bingo tent that produced over 700 indian head pennies. A fairgrounds from the 1870,s that gave up 27 silver halves and 400 silver quarters in one day. Many more sites like this.
I hope to have many more "BEST FINDS"
My best find in awhile was a Confederate I coat button at a construction site. That place has been hit hard every week end for months. I am glad someone left it for me.
Last two times out, for this season in New England, in the same field a 1794 large cent with lettering on the edge, 1798 large cent, 1802 large cent, and a 1902 Indian head penny. What a way to end the season. I'm counting down the days to get back ot in the spring when the field is plowed!
My wife would say the two black hills gold rings we found in the same hole. The best American coin an 1857 seated dime. The oldest coin was a Roman coin from about 400ad found in NE Oklahoma. It's hard to say which is the best.
My avatar is a picture of the Roman coin.
My best find came just 3 years ago in an open field. I found a 1898 E.PLURIBUS.UNUM One Dollar.....

1805 half cent small five with stems
