Years ago I applied "Armour-All" to my coil after a thorough cleaning. It seemed to help keep the grass clippings/dirt and sand etc..from sticking as much to the top and sides of it. I also use "Pam" non-stick cooking spray with good results. Wipe off any excess and let dry before heading out...

Coil Cover?

Newbie asks: What about coil covers?  Good idea or not necessary?

Just be careful with Armour

Just be careful with Armour all, it will dry out vinyl products, and cause then to crack!

Pam cooking spray might

Pam cooking spray might attract some unwanted friends in the summer like wasps ,hornets and fly's . Pam contains Canola oil. Just food for thought .

I think the armour-all works

I think the armour-all works a little better than the cooking spray. But both seem to help with their anti-stick qualities!
