1st silver
Just got in from a local park. They close about 10:00 PM. I like to get there when most people are leaving. Most of the court's lights go off after 10:05. I have a headlight, and just dug up my second clad quarter, and got a strong 44 on my Minelab 305. Most quarters are 40. After cutting a plug of grass, I immediately saw a bright shiney coin! A '56 quarter! I've been over these parks, and never expected to find silver, as this is a <30 year-old park. Probably some kid went into Dad's collection for a soda! Ha! I'll be back for more...Chris

if the park closes at 10 you shouldn't be in there after 10. that would reflest badly on our hobby.

Charles, you're right.. the ranger and I met before, and he gives me some extra time. this time I was actually sent away by a near point blank sprinkler.. Ha! He has a truck to finish garbage rounds, and I'm out before he's done.Regards,Chris
