I stopped at a South Carolina Beach coming back from Florida in May 2010 . I've been detecting this Beach for over 20 years and it produces very little in old coins and Jewelry. It has an eroison rate of about 20 feet per year. The Lincoln Cent were coming out about the size of a Half-Dime. When I started detecting this beach, I was always told you should have been here yesterday by the Park Rangers. They said some ship wreck coins were found.I will post some pictures later on this Beach. Hope you enjoy my Oldest Beach Coin. The date is 1761 and the N > M > is the Mintmaster Initial of Nikolaus Martinengo--KM # 271.
