Hi, I am planning to head to the Mesa AZ area next month and would like to hook up with a fellow THer or club that would be willing to share local info on likely site to search. I am a long time THer and no novice. Lots of tales and experiences to share.

Mike at Promack

He gave me a good lead and I found a token I sold for a pretty nice chunk of change. If your in the area be sure to stop at his store in the Gold Field Ghost Town and say hi. If you need any supplies he should have it.

Be sure to stop out at the

Be sure to stop out at the Goldfield Ghost Town, 4 miles north of Apache Junction on Hwy 88. There is a store in the town called Pro Mack South. The FMDAC SW Chapter is based at the store. Mike is the SW Chapter President and very knowledgable on detectors and sites. We have two metal detecting clubs in the area, one in Phoenix and one in Apache Junction with lots of good sites still producing.
