Sorry but they don't make 'em like that anymore.  Matter of fact, they don't make them at all.  Apparently, manufacture of the bigfoot coil was a very small operation with sales through Jimmy Sierra and Whites.  When the manufacturer and patent owner passed, the manufacturing stalled and attempts to revive the manufacture by others has proved less than successful.  Jimmy was selling some for a while (and took a lot of back orders) but reliability problems and slow delivery have all but stopped sales and he is no longer even adding names to his waiting list for the coils. You have yet another problem:  The bigfoot for the DFX wasn't produced as long as the one for the 5.9 KHZ machines (Eagle, IDX, 5000, 6000, XLT, Quantum, etc.) so there were very few manufactured.  You see them pop up on eBay on occasion, but get ready for sticker shock.  The more common 5.9 KHZ bigfoot coils in less than pristine condition go for considerably more than the original $199, and the one made for the DFX is almost impossible to find - but if you do find one, be prepared to shell out $350 or more for it.  Not only are DFX owners like yourself eager to get a bigfoot (either as a backup, replacement, or first time owner) but now the Spectra Vision, V3i, and VX3 owners are looking for that coil as well (most coils for the DFX will work on the V3 series as long as  the high (22.5KHZ) frequency is not being used on the machine). The solution?  I don't know.  You'd think that with the incredible demand for these coils someone could get them manufactured.  There are sure a lot of us waiting.Gil
