Does fisher want to sell units?
I'm in the market for a metal detector ,trying to get as information from the manufactures as possible.Called fisher to have them send me some,i was informed by the girl on the phone none was available so i asked when and was told she had no idea?Being new to this, it doesn't give me warm fuzzy feeling inside.How is there customer service?I'm hoping this is fluke or fisher is out of the running although the f75 does sound sweet.
Fisher isn't in the treasure hunting business. They are only selling units. If you call and talk to the people working there you discover that most have never used a metal detector and don't know the first thign about them. Even the man in charge of getting them repaired has never used one. I love the old style machines. Haven't used the new ones.
I requested catalogs from them also, I did it through their website and have not received anything from them? Your guess is as good as mine. Good Luck...... diggin in
this is in response to the comment about the people at fisher not using detectors. i click on the reply button but it always comes up above the comment i want to reply to instead of below it. first texas may hire specialists in their field who don't actually use the product in the field. mike scott is very informed when it comes to detectors and hunts a lot. i have seen him in action at the gnrs hunts and he posts frequently on the forums. don't know if felix hunts but i do know that he knows what its about when it comes to repairs on the detectors
