A treasure search team set off for an expedition to locate a Jesuit cave where jewels are supposed to have been hidden on a remote rocky island. They ran into many problems along the way, including some damage to their rubber boat. The steep rocky shoreline, continues below the surface of the water and makes even landing a boat very dangerous. The expedition team must go to the end of the island around the tip, attempt to land just along the back side of it. First Google Earth image sent to me was trimmed of coordinates from the bottom and made dark, so the island wouldn't be recognized. Later the crew leader had three maps with the coordinates forwarded to me for better dowsing. I then made several of my own maps in Google Earth. Below is a clear view of the search area. Pirates later inhabited the island as well.

Here is an email I received on 4/05/11 about my dowsing hits and also then obtained proper permission to post it.
Up to now that party I handled your map dowsing could not make it to the main point yet due to several reasons as bad weather, bad sea conditions for the boat and lack of common schedule dates between members of the group.
But I have good news for you. This past week, the leader of the group, decided to check one of your marks regarding caves in that picture. So he entered your coordinates in his GPS, adjusted some magnetic errors from compass and headed walking into the woods. After walking for 4 hours, he finally PROVED you were right. One of your cave marks in the picture proved absolutely correct. He found it in the exact spot confirmed by the GPS a huge cave entrance with some tunnels.
The cave marked as a gold cache in your map dowsing however lies about 2000 feet ahead of that one, but he could not reach it at this time. It was getting late and he was not ready to spend the night. In the next holiday, he intends to reach the other coordinates you marked to find if there is indeed another cave and if necessary he will spend the night in the forest.
I will keep you informed about this, but he is impressed on how you were right about this first cave location. Congratulations.

I requested the permission from a man, who is a friend of another person on the expedition team, to post a photo taken from the crew’s boat. The view is from farther away, you can see another craft in close. He felt sorry for the team, because of the hardship and delays encountered, so emailed the photo for dowsing. Since dowsing revealed the location of these caves and a huge cave entrance with tunnels already found, the team will include him to join up with the expedition later. Plenty of ships have wrecked over the years in this area.

I first found ship debris trails...but they wanted the cave location rather than shipwrecks. I checked the landscape above waterline. No indications of a cave, until at the right edge of photo. I was using a small pair of bronze rods without any handles, they seemed to run off the image pointing to something which is missing here. I like to use 3/32” bronze rods, about  10-11 ½” length for general dowsing , the light rods work on maps also. The bronze I made my rods from is of the same conductivity as small gold.

The photo (above) has an arrow (boat position) and a circle of the search area, where my rods went off the edge of the photo, which was snapped from the boat. Above the X I follewed a cave running northeast and below it another cave turned southwest. The Google Earth map below has arrow icon placemarks of the dowsed locations of these caves. I marked all entrances, both open and concealed (not shown)...some seemed to be only connecting tunnels underground or perhaps to secret rooms. The coordinates were taken from these arrow placemarks and sent to the expedition leader, along with the maps.

From these coordinate positions, more maps were made by zooming in closer. A second dowsing of the caves was made using these new Google Earth close ups. Following marked maps and coordinate positions, the very first attempt by the team leader produced a significant cave find.

The marked dowsing hits are not shown here. Zooming in so much the images don't quite match perfectly. The more I zoomed in, the more my dowsing hits moved slightly south or southeast of the arrow placemarks. This is because of the angle of view and perspective of Google Earth images.

My permission to share details of the expedition is limited and only granted, so that the dowsing techniques used might be passed on to other treasure hunters. The images don't seem to display, attaching them.

More search info, soon a

More search info, soon a couple team members will be there with LRLs and whatever else they decide to bring. These guys are up to date in electronic detection equipment.
Here is something the expedition team learned about a site in the forest, by talking with natives living on the island. This email was sent to me after I dowsed maps for cave location (but before the expedition leader found it)------"This weekend one of the guys who is in this expedition told me that he heard a very interesting story from 'natives' there. One day in the recent past, one of them was chasing a wild pig into the woods. He said he went really deep in the forrest when he saw an incredible vision. There lied a big pool made of stones. All black and white stones. It had some mechanism that pumped water out and into it. The island has 14 documented archeological sites, but this one pool none knows about." The original first map dowsing request------"One of my team members has conection with another group. They have been chasing a treasure for some years now as they own a kind of map instructions that was found. They have over the years mirrored down the possible spot to the location in the picture I have attached. According to the document, big gold with lots of gemstones were hidden inside a small cave with a rock put in front to cover the entrance. They have been there for the past two weeks, but unfortunately could not dock as the waves were too high to allow aproaching. They have ruined a rubber boat due to several underwater rocks laying around. No wonder the place is full of shipwrecks."

Thanks Rvcunningham. To explain things properly, will need to make some good how-to-do-it illustrations.

Cave photo here sent to me. I just got an email update from the expedition team, along with the photo of the huge cave entrance. A quote from the email------"One of the guys told me that they will return this next weekend. I will send one of my people with them. He will take his LRL.
I'm attaching one picture of the cave entrance for you to see.
This time they plan to spend 2 days in that site camping in the forrest."

I've gotten really involved

I've gotten really involved with dowsing maps for treasure hunters and get a lot of feedback...it happens often. What I should do is start sharing some tips, but most who can use the info feel they already know the best methods. I have what works for me, not everyone does things or interprets signals quite the same way.
