Here's a white gold ring with diamonds and a 10k Jesus pendant. I almost passed on the ring as it was standing heavy side down and looked just like a pull tab, glad I gave it another look. I was searching an already dug beach and found 2.19 in clad,  a 1939 quarter.  There where holes dug everywhere so I know there had been one or more detectors before myself.  What supprised me even more was the amount of bottle tops, can pull tabs left beside each hole.  I filled my pouch with the trash and cleaned the best I could.  I am proud of my little Ace 250 for finding gold in an already dug beach.

Trash left around hole's!!

Hey cgull: I hate it when people do that on my beach. Also what gets me is those same guy's dig that same old pull tab on every trip. Year after year the same guy digs the same pull tab. I hunt in the water and carry out all my junk. Ask the guys "that leave the pull tab by his hole" what he finds. "Oh just a bunch of pull tabs". That's a very nice ring to find. That's your reward for cleaning the beach, just don't pick up that one pull tab or the guy hunting for it will be lost.
