Well I found a watch face under about 6 inches of dirt,I got real excited. Then I went into the water and found some coins and a ring about 10 inches under the water, so I now know the Garrett Ace 250 will Detect underwater well.As soon as I get some pics took I will post them.

Congrats Larrythewolf, I will

Congrats Larrythewolf,

I will keep an eye out for you since you said you had the ace 250 as i have one myself. I have had it for a little more than a month and been out 5 times. I have found quite a few coins, an 1908 barber, a ring(not gold) and a few other pieces of junk metal. I was a little timid about putting it in water but i think you confirmed that it is ok. I have the origional coil, what coil are you using for your digs. What sensitivity did you have it set on?

Thanks and good hunting.
