Hello Hunters I hope everyone is holding themselves together in these cold months. I find it hard to be stuck in and not be able to go out THing. All I can say is research, research and YOU GUESSED IT RESEARCH. Anyway getting to the article I wanted to write about the F75 limited special edition and well all of the F75s. I have used a few detectors before I started out with a radio shack cheapy delux. Although it work to detect metal it was not the best at discriminating junk. I love it cause it started me on a hobby that has brought alot of joy and excitment. I also own a fisher F2, F5 and my flagship fisher model the F75 limited special edition (LSE). also have a garrett GTax 550 and a whites beach hunter 300. All of them are great detectors but just like all things each one has its own personality and operate slighty differently. Now the F75 LSE is by far the the most sensitive detector I have owned or used. I read alot that people dont like it cause it is noisy and it confuses them. well if you are about to buy a F75 LSE and your looking for a detector that only signals you when there is keeper under your coil then dont buy anything. Cause that technology doesnt exsist in a metal detector. Also if you are a first time buyer I would not recomend purchasing a F75LSE unless you are willing to put in the time and effort to learn the machine. Really the F75 LSE is the deepest searching detector I have ever seen. I can go out on the beaches of NJ and detect a dime at 18 inches with the sensitivity set at 50. Just before the end of the summer I found a Pocket watch under a boardwalk at just over 103" yes almost 9 feet with the sensitivity set at 90 on boost process. the downside is that Amy (that is my name for my F75 LSE) was kinda chatty. even though it is chatty you can hear the difference between just blips and real keepers. A keepers item gives you a strong signal that has a steady VDI #. also you have your confidence meter to guide you. For people out there that own a F75 and dont like it. Please I beg you give it a chance turn your sensitivity down and get used to the chatter. I cant promise you will find keepers but if you own a F75 I promise that you own the most sensitive metal detector on the market. I hope everyone has a good winter and a merry christmas.John S
