I have a buddy that is using

I have a buddy that is using the Gold bug Pro in the Humbolt Mnt Range on some gold claims and they are doing very well with it, however he says that the gold bug 2 still is a better machine for small gold than the  new gold bug pro by a small margin.

Thanks for asking. Feel free to ask for advice at any time.
Out of respect for Mr. Garrett and Mr. Fisher as well as the other users of this forum, I will respond to your question over on the Garrett section of this forum under metal detectors(Garrett).
Don't get me wrong. The Fisher Gold Bug is a fine machine. I just prefer to specialize in Garrett's, which are fine machine's as well.
No offense to Fisher's.

It looks pretty interesting and the price is right, but I think I'll stick with my old Scorpion Gold Stinger and Infinium LS. (no offense to Fisher Labs, they make fine machines.
