I almost tossed this in my trash bin thinking it was the tail end of a shotgun shell.  I gave it a little rub and noticed it had more writing than shells and after a little wash I found is wasn't just another token.  Anybody else find any of these?

Tax token

Living in Oklahoma I have found a few of these. I did some research and found that when the government passed a tax to help pay for WWI a number of states issued these to help offset this tax. Some states issued these in paper but a few states like Oklahoma used metal. The Oklahoma tokens are made of aluminum. A neat piece of our history is what you found.

Where did you find it?  Was it in Okla or  elsewhere ?  Keep swinging that coil.

Good find.  I found one in  Guthrie, OK  a little over a year ago.  They were a tax token  meant for  "old age assistance" from back inthe 30's.  When I was a kid back in the late 40's they  were kept by my grandparents  and other old folks as a novelty.  That is a excellent  example of Okla history.  Hope your good luck continues in future hunts.
