Heavy Snow....Again
Yesterday I was out detecting in the park, I found 27 coins and a nice silver framed Opal pendant. Today I'm in a different world, there is already four inches of snow on the ground and it is coming down heavily. According to the newspaper our average high is 52f, we will not get out of the 30's for the next three days... if anyone sees old man winter, get a rope......Kane 23

Most of the snow melted yesterday, supposed to be 62f today,I'll get some detecting in today, more tommarow and thursday. Friday it's supposed to snow again. I need a big break. good hunting, kane 23
Hopefully next winter won't be as bad. It rained here this morning . They said temps will be in the 50s 60s and 70s here the next couple weeks so I'll be doing alot of hunting.
8 inches that is what we ended up getting on saturday and saturday night, supposed to warm up the next few days,so it might melt before the week is over.(another storm is predicted for thursday and friday) Cherokee kid, I don't like the cold either it was below zero a few times in december, since then it has been the snow storm every few days. A lot of times it just melts and another one comes in to make detecting really hard again. I've had it! If i had the means I would move to somewhere it never snows.....Kane23
I didn't think winter would ever end here either but its been warm for a while now. It wasn't the snow that I didn't like about this winter it was the temperatures early in the winter it was in the single digits and below zero for a while here. It was the first time I've ever been anywhere when it got that cold.
ANOTHER SATURDAY, ANOTHER STORM! One TV station is predicting up to 10 inches today, when will it end? This is the worst winter in years. I'll forget how to detect before this pattern ever quits! The weather is nice here. I had to go out of town because of a family emergency and it was cold there but when I got back here it was nice and warm . The ground here has been completely thawed for a while now . I'll be hunting all weekend trying out my new equipment I just got.
M scope I hope you find a fortune! we ended up getting 7 inches, it's supposed to snow another 4 inches today. good hunting, kane 23
That stinks!! Atleast you got to squeeze in a good days hunt before it hit! I'm finally starting to see some grass patches here. I've been detecting in the snow off and on since January.
I'm getting ready to head out to do some detecting too.
