How can post get hundreds of views.

I agree with jimmygstewart. I believe that the page/view "counter" usually at the bottom of a webpage is invisible. So, when the page is viewed, it's "counted", but few viewers are posting replies or comments to the subject,which is also "counted". Hence the discrepancy. Hope that helps and more importantly hope my explanation is correct.
