I saw where Minelab is coming out with a pinpointer for 2012. It looks similar to Garretts and its possibly release date is April.

I have been wondering when someone would copy Garrett's pinpointer, just didn't think it would be Minelab.

Minelab pinpointer

Right, not much info on it yet. I was looking at the Garrett pro-pointer, but may wait for reviews on the Minelab. Need to replace the junky automax v4, which I rarely use.   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5SipkfgA_hA&feature=youtu.be
