My 4 buddies and I got out on Saturday to hunt near the same place where I dug my first Yankee civil war belt buckle in April. it was humid as anything in anticipation of the hurricane that really fizzled out here in N. Virginia.

I had a fantastic day, digging 9 bullets, and my first complete spenser/burside casing with bullet attached, 2 flat buttons, one with a backmark that states: BEST QUALITY LONDON, which I believe is Confederate since this areas is a known battle site.

I also dug my first Pennsylvania State seal cuff button, in pristine condiiton with gilt. The relics are out there thn'g friends, but you really have to take your time when detecting, and dig all signals.....

HH...

Best-
