Taking trip to Winter Park, Fl This Thursday-Monday. Would like suggestions on where I could go metal dectecting.

I'm a long time coin shooter. 54 years old. My son is enrolled at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Fla. My family is traveling down there Thursday the 10th and will be there until Monday the 14th. I would like to take my metal detector and do some old coin shooting while there. Winter Park looks like a very old town. I would appreciate any fellow hunters giving me some advice on some places I could hunt such as parks, fair grounds, churches, schools, ect....And if any of the local club members would volunteer to take me on a hunt with them, it would be very much appreciated. I always enjoy meeting fellow treasure hunters. Also, are there any good Metal Detector Stores in the Winter Park area I could visit?
