went to an old home site along river in a plowed field what finds so far 18k wedding band 1853 half dime 1776 half reale 1861 thru 1907 indian heads three 1918 wheaties 1854 seated liberty quarter old buttons so much copper and brass stuff its just been planted with corn will be back in fall what a hot spot

Hope you continue to have Good Luck. I live in Charlotte ,N.C. and don't ever see any plowed fields in my area. I've been in a few 20 acre site's recently but haven't found much. I was at an old house about 75 years old last week and came up empty handed. Going to try and get permission to detect another house that the city wants torn down. It may be close to the W W 1 area Camp Greene Hospital. The tent sites were only about 2 blocks away and many items were found. goldnugget-Charlotte,N.C.

are there any streams or rivers withen 20 or so miles from your home? if so look for any open fields and along the banks for signs of a homestead also i went to our library and found old atlas that showed where old homes were located i,ve discovered about 40 old sites. we ve had many floods in my little town over the years so any real old coins are to deep to find in yards. thanks for the comeback happy huntin , good luck
