There is no magical blueprint to sudden or easy cache hunting within these pages. If you do not realize that YOU are the only one capable of allowing yourself to attain that goal, you will probably never successfully hunt caches. There are no books, maps, charts, schedules, medicines, electronics, occultism, or anything else capable of it. It is up to you. We have set out to give some good, practical advise in these pages. We hope that you find it so, and that this book is of real help to you. Cache hunting is a real possibility for many. We hope it is for you! The temptation to list a good many actual cache recoveries within these pages was resisted. Those can be found in the treasure magazines and elsewhere. It does make for some interesting reading. Here we encourage you, should you find one or more caches, not to allow your find to enliven the pages of this or that publication. If successful, keep your mouth closed, and enjoy the fruits of your efforts.
