Hello, does anybody have any experience with the Sunray dx-1 probe? I like the idea of being able to probe easily while kneeling over my hole and not having to maneuver my detector in this position. I'm new to detecting and still learning as I go. I don't want to add something that will have negative effects. I seem to be spending most of my time in local parks and playgrounds, but plan to detect beaches here in NW Oregon. I would also like to travel down and detect in Arizona in the future. Is the sunray probe useful on small nuggets? Any insight would be useful. Thank You, Eric.

No problems at all with running the coil through the DX-1 box. You do have to remember to switch back to the coil after using the Dx-1.

That is a interesting idea to use the probe in place of the coil. So you guys have not lost any performance from the coil running thru the Sunray box. That is probably the biggest concern of mine. Thanks for the response.

I have had the DFX, MXT and V3 and used the DX-1 on all of them. You just can not beat it on finding the exact location of your target. Recovery time is super fast with it, much less time trying to find something even if it is small. Now I will never leave home without a DX-1 mounted on my detector. Well worth the price and with it attached to your detector no more back tracking to find your lost pinpointer....
