XP Deus
The XP Deus has been out for a little over 2 years in Europe and a little over 1 month in the USA. I own one and it's an amazing machine. It is operates on 4 different frequencies 4, 8, 12, 18 KHz and has 9 pre-loaded programs which can be modified via the expert menu. Each program is designed for specific types of targets and ground condition. It has a beach program as well. The coil is waterproof, but the control unit and headphones are not. If you plan on using it for shallow water hunting (submerging the coil), it requires an optional antenna which attaches to the coil to send the radio signal from the coil to the control unit and headphones. The detector weighs about 2.2 pounds with the control unit attached. I wear the control unit on my arm in a waterproof arm band (see pic). If you want to know more about it, read the field report by Andy S. in the May issue of Lost Treasure Mag.
