The Diver Mag 1 is a high performance marine magnetom-eter detection system that works equally well on land or underwater. This super sensitive detector will locate pipelines, cables, cannons, dredge parts, and just about any ferrous metal (iron/steel) object of any size. The hand held mag has user friendly controls that allow anyone to be an expert operator in no time. A convenient hand grip and shoulder strap make it easy to carry for land operations. The mag can even be operated from inside a small boat to search shallow lakes and rivers.The Diver Mag 1 features a triaxial noise cancelling sensor that allows it to be held in any position without affecting sensitivity or stability of the readout. A five digit LED display and audio output indicate the presence of a ferrous metal target. The mag has user adjustable buoyancy and moves through the water with ease. A variable sensitivity switch makes pinpointing targets extremely easy. Power is supplied by an internal 12 volt rechargeable battery and a 120 vac battery charger is included with the system. An external belt mounted battery pack is also available for extended operations. Diver Mag 1 is constructed of high impact, corrosion proof PVC to give many years of trouble free performance and is depth rated to 200 feet. The complete system is covered by a two year warranty.
