STONY BROOK, NY - A new book about White's Electronics' flagship DFX metal detector is now available. "Digging Deeper with the DFX" takes a detailed look at the DFX's operation and use. The book is geared towards DFX "coin-shooters" that want to move from the generic "turn on and go" factory programs to customized settings best suited to their local requirements. In addition to a basic operation summary, the book includes sections on setup menu operation, ground mineralization effects, White's VDI target indication number system, operating frequencies, pros and cons of multi-frequency operation, sample custom programs, how to create custom programs, and a setting summary with guidelines for each adjustment. Because of the DFX's product heritage, users of older White's Spectrum detectors, like the XLT, should find much of "Digging Deeper with the DFX" helpful as well. "Digging Deeper with the DFX" (11" x 8½"; spiral bound; 116+ pages; 50 figures; 16 tables) is priced at $27.50 +$4.50 shipping and handling, and is available from the author: Jeff Foster, P.O. Box 260, Stony Brook, NY 11790 and through participating White's Dealers. More information is available online at www.digdeepdfx.com. Contact: info@digdeepdfx.com. Note: White's Dealers, please contact your regional distributors for availability. |
