Complete Sweepstakes Rules & Regulations:

  1. No purchase necessary.
  2. Grand Prize: The Minelab X-TERRA 705 Gold Pack. Prize cannot be transferred or substituted. Taxes are the responsibility of the winner. All prizes will be awarded.
  3. Deadline: Sweepstakes begins December 1st, 2014. Entries must be received by midnight Eastern Time (U.S.) on December 31st, 2014. Winners are drawn on the 3rd day of each month, or the next proceeding business day if the 3rd should fall on any holiday, weekend or any other non-working day, and posted in the second Newsletter each month. Winners will be notified by e-mail (or by mail if no e-mail address is given). The previous winners page will be updated on the 1st of the month if information is available.
  4. Eligibility: Void where prohibited by law. Lost Treasure, Inc. employees, staff, contributing writers and their agents, the manufacturer of this month's prize and any immediate family members of the aforementioned are not eligible to win.
  5. Electronic Entry: Individuals must complete and submit the form on this page of the Lost Treasure web site. All fields marked with a red * are required. Entries submitted with blank fields or with inappropriate information will be discarded. NOTE: Only one entry per household per day of the sweepstakes will be accepted. Multiple entries will be denied by the system. You may enter either by mail or the Internet, but not both.
  6. Mail Entry: Individuals may optionally send a 3"x 5" piece of paper in an envelope no larger than 9.5" x 4.5" with your name and full address, including zip code, along with the answer to the question above in lieu of a website entry. Mailed entries must have a postmark between December 1st, 2014 and December 31st, 2014 and must be received no later than January 3rd, 2014. Mail to MINELAB, P.O. BOX 451589, GROVE, OK 74345-1589.
  7. Winners are liable to pay any tariffs or foreign shipping cost if outside the U.S.

Mobile device not working - IPad

I thought I was the only one...IPads gen1 & 3 won't type in the open forms fields. LT notified and looking into this ..

Found it.

I did find my email in the Spam folder but when I tried to use the link from my mobile device, the password reset page wouldn't accept anything I typed, so I just waited till I could get there from my laptop. All reset, up and running. Thanks John and Lost Treasure. Merry Christmas and keep up the great work!

Hey that's great!! Yes, you always have some labor pains involved when switching sites over. For now we are using "https://new.losttreasure.com/" for the new site because the old site is still up and running through our beta testing of the new site. We will go back to www.losttreasure.com when the old site is taken down. Have fun with the new site and let us know if you have any trouble.

This morning's attempt worked and why.

Thank you John.  I checked my Spam folder and nothing was there.  I already had the Lt publisher email in my  Contacts folder.The difference this morning was that for the first time, I got the screen with the link to transfer my account to the new website URL.  It worked; thanks again.  Starting new websites always entails labor pains to one degree or another.I assume that https://new.losttreasure.com/ is now the URL that I should use in the future for all business with Lost Treasure?   Please correct me if I'm wrong.Merry Christmas ,  HotRock

Reset Password

Okay guys check your "Junk" or "Spam" folder. If not there try adding supportatlosttreasure [dot] com to your address book. We have tested the system and many others are receiving the reset password emails.

I can't reset my password either.

Adipocere, I have exactly the same problem with resetting my password as you're having.  I never get the prompt to reset the password.  - HotRock

Not getting the email...

I keep trying to do the password reset and I enter my email address (confirmed from my account on the old site that I am entering the right one) and the email with the link never shows up. I don't want to register as a new user because I will lose all my files and digital subscription links. How do we correct this?

Monthly sweepstakes

After logging in for the daily contest it still wants me to log in again for the monthly contest, when I do it does not let me in and says it needs my email to reset my password. WHY?At least the web site is a little faster than it has been.

New Site

The new site seem to be working great. It seems to be a bear to learn (for me) but ones you do it is working. Ones you get it down it is faster and easier. Just find and use the drop downs at the top of the page.

Lucky Number Sweepsteaks logon

When I click on "Enter Here", It takes me to the logon screen. At that point, it continues as in my comment. If it is as you say, why am I taken to the logon screen?

if you log-in for the monthly give away you are already logged-in for for the lucky number sweepstakes. that sweepstakes is a one time only entry. good luck

Lucky Number Sweepsteaks logon

I can logon to monthly sweepsteaks now but not the Lucky Number Sweepsteaks. I go through the recommended steps and nothing works. I tried the new register, but I receive a message that my email is already used. I have sent an email about my issue and did not receive an answer. I don't know if the user name and password requirements are or are not the same. I suggested in my email that the space in my user name may be a problem. The reason I suggest that is due to the system searching for my password if I take the space out of my user name. If I leave the space in the user name, the system does not search for the password and gives an immediate password error. Go figure!!

Hi Diggin, keep this in mind if it applies. We captured your username and email addresses from the old site 4-6 weeks ago. If you’re a new user to this site or trying to use a different email than what you signed up with, the new site will not recognize you. If that's the case just go to the new site and REGISTER a new account. If your still having trouble feel free to give me a call - 800-423-0029 Ext. 4

Still unable to log in on new site.............

On login page I fill in user name and then password, I am sent to another link to update my password based on my email address. W#hen I hit submit I am direct right back  to the same previous login page.I had a one time link to ???  Asked  if I encountered a problem logging in and to please give my email address which I did and that LT would respond to correct, that was 4 days ago. Still no response from LT?Am I the only who can't get logged in?  Am I misssing a trick to logging in to update my password?I'm open for suggestions                  diggin in  Thanks

Cannot sign in with IPad

I can sign in on my PC
but still cannot signin from my IPad on the new site.

As I said before the sign in form cannot be typed into, when I try I hear the clicking of my typing but nothing shows up.
If I enter after typing the ghost letters it tells me to enter both even after signing into the new site on my PC and using the correct signin.
I am using a first gen IPad which may be the problem but i doubt it, I have never run into this situation ever before on any other web page ...ever, and do the majority of Internet use with this device.

I can't possibly be the only one with this issue, you may loose lots of followers that can't be bothered to mention this issue then move to other sites.
You should speak to the developer and test this with various IPads and other mobile devices.

Using Facebook to sign in will NOT give us ANY OF YOUR CONTACTS nor will we capture/store your FB password. Not sure why your having trouble with the iPad. This site was built to handle any mobile device including your smartphone.

I went to login, clicked on "Forgot Password", entered my email address.Went to email and opened mail "Reset Password" from "supportatlosttreasure [dot] com [dot] It would only accept one character and then locked up.Mac OS 10.9.5, Safari Lee Midland MI

Cannot sign in on new site

When I go to the new site I cannot log in. The login screen form cannot be typed in. I can select it but the is no curser showing and nothing happens when I type. I am using an IPad with safari browser, this also happens on my PC with a Chrome browser. Am I the only one having issues?
I haven't tried sign in using Facebook because it will give you all my contacts and password, that's asking too much, way too much.....

Hi All, we have fixed the runtime errors on our new website.Go to the new site https://new.losttreasure.com/ and enter the December Lost Treasure Sweeppstakes. We transferred your account information from this site. When you get there you will need to reset your password. Click the login button. The new site doesn't remember your password from the old site but does remember your email address. So click on "Forgot Password" and follow the instructions.It's much faster and very easy to enter the Sweepstakes each day.Thank you all for your support and understanding through this new site transition.
